SRS were contracted as the mechanical and electrical design and build contractor to complete the new build of the Allam Diabetes Centre at Hull Royal Infirmary. This state-of-the-art Allam Diabetes Centre provides 2100m2 of new floor space for outpatients, training and research, and will become a local landmark at the front of Hull Royal Infirmary.

SRS are delighted to have supported the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Zenith Developments to deliver an iconic project to the city of Hull and to know they have played such a big role in supporting the local community with better healthcare facilities.
What We Did
• Installed a new plant room and air source heat pump to provide the building with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, LTWH and domestic water supplies.
• Power and LED lighting was fitted throughout the building.
• A full security system was installed including CCTV, door access, intruder alarms throughout the building across 3 levels.
• Full fire alarm system connected through the building.
• Installed a new data network for computers, phone lines and to run technology required in the building.
• A bespoke nurse call system was fitted for patient monitoring
